I'm sure a lot of you have watched the movie Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, well my high school reunion wasn't that big. Well, to begin with, it was just an idea that became a plan and became an event. One of my hs batch mate whom i still have contact with, suggested that we should have a small gathering with our hs friends. She's been out of the country a lot and she just wants to catch up with old friends. I liked the idea so i initiated a plan, and with the help of FRIENDSTER i was able to make bulletins and made contacts with some of them. At that time, i was really amazed how Internet can actually connect people. By checking out theirfriendster account alone i learned a lot of things about them, like what have they become after high school, or did they even attended college; and I'm surprised as to how a lot of them had turned out. A number of them are overseas, some are there for good and some are there just to work. I also found out that most of them really turned out successful. We have a gynecologist, dermatologist, an accountant, an entrepreneur, an actress/model, a singer (me included) and what have you. As for the others who had chosen to be a stay home mom and wife, i salute them because being one is not easy, i know 'cause i was once a stay homemom myself. Anyway, even though only few attended the gathering, it's as if i really learned a lot of things about them and i could say that it was a successful one. It was worth all the troubles and as early as now im already planning to have another gathering by the end of the year.
