Here is the scenario, it was after eating lunch the mother told her daughters (13 and 12 years old respectively); daughter 1 : "Clean up the table" and to daughter 2 : "you wash the dishes". The mother added, "I'm so in a hurry as I will be late for work, you both take care of your youngest sister." Her daughter patiently obeyed, the mother went upstairs instead of taking a shower as she claimed she was in a hurry; she turned right, went in front of the computer and played FARMVILLE for nearly an hour before taking the much awaited shower. Her daughters while she played, obediently did what their mother asked them to do.
Now you tell me, what kind of mother would do such a thing? Isn't it that there's a saying in filipino "Isusubo ko na lang, Ibibigay ko pa sa mga anak ko." This doesn't just apply to the food on our plate but this applies to all the sacrifice a mother would do to make her children's lives a bit easier, sacrifice even your little happiness just to be sure that your children's happiness comes first. This kind of scenario is just unimaginable, I know so because I am a mother too. I am a mother before I am a person, I am a mother before I am a wife, I am a mother before I am a friend, I am a mother before I am a daughter and lastly I am a mother as God wanted me to be so.
